The Nashville (TN) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. pauses to mourn the loss and celebrate the life of Brother Maurice Bransford, a man whose legacy of dedication to our fraternity and community will not be forgotten.

Brother Bransford was more than an active member—he was a pillar of strength and consistency within our chapter. He faithfully served as the longest-tenured Dean of Pledgees in the history of the Nashville (TN) Alumni Chapter, alongside the longest tenured NAC Polemarch Brother Dr. James Ellzy, guiding generations of young brothers into our noble bond. His leadership, mentorship, and example of service left an indelible mark on our fraternity.

As we reflect on his life, we are reminded of the bonds of brotherhood that connect us all. Brotherhood is not only about initiation—it is about respect, honor, and showing up for one another in life and in death.

Now is the time for us to demonstrate the depth of that bond. We are calling on every brother who is able to join us in honoring Brother Bransford’s life and service:

• 11:40am - Kappa Service will begin
• Attire: Dark suit, white shirt, Kappa Tie, Black Pants, Black Shoes.  Remember to drape your Coat of Arms or do not wear one.
